WORKSHOPS
There is something wonderfully restorative about working with flowers. Our workshops are an opportunity to slow down, work with your hands and spend a few hours surrounded by the colours, textures and scents of the season.
Held at our studio in Chilgrove, in the Sussex countryside near Chichester, our workshops are relaxed, creative and suitable for everyone — whether you have never picked up a pair of floristry scissors or simply want to spend more time creating with flowers.
Everything you need is provided, along with plenty of guidance from our team. You’ll leave with something beautiful that you have made yourself, and the confidence and inspiration to keep creating at home.
“Time spent with flowers is time well spent.”
SEASONAL WORKSHOPS
Throughout the year we host a small programme of seasonal workshops at our Chilgrove studio.
Working with flowers and foliage selected for the season, we’ll guide you through the techniques needed to create your own arrangement, with plenty of opportunity to develop your individual style.
Classes are kept small and relaxed, allowing plenty of time for individual guidance.

CHRISTMAS WREATH MAKING AT THE STUDIO
Spend a few festive hours with us at our Chilgrove studio creating your own Christmas wreath.
Using an abundant selection of seasonal foliage, berries and natural materials, we'll show you how to build your wreath from the base up before adding the details that make it entirely your own. No previous experience is needed and all materials, tools and refreshments are provided.
Classes are limited to 10 people.

PRIVATE AND CORPORATE WORKSHOPS
Our workshops can also be arranged privately for friends, families, businesses and teams.
From a relaxed afternoon of flowers at our Sussex studio to a creative team session or seasonal wreath-making workshop, we can tailor the experience to your group, the time available and what you would like to create.
Private workshops can be held at our studio in Chilgrove or, depending on the event, at another location.

GOOD TO KNOW
-
Everything you need to take part in the workshop will be provided, including flowers and foliage, tools and any additional materials required for your chosen class. Refreshments will also be available throughout the session. You simply need to bring yourself.
-
Not at all. Our workshops are suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some previous floristry experience. We’ll demonstrate each stage and be on hand throughout the workshop to offer guidance and help where needed.
-
The length of each workshop will vary depending on what we are creating. The approximate duration will always be shown when you book. We recommend allowing a little extra time at the end so that the session never feels rushed.
-
Our studio is a working floristry space, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little wet or marked. The studio can also be cooler at certain times of year, so layers are always a good idea. Aprons are available upon request.
-
Complimentary parking is available at the studio at Unit 4, The Courtyard, Crowshall Farm, Chilgrove, PO18 8HW. As we are based on a working farm, surfaces may be uneven or muddy depending on the weather, so please wear suitable footwear. Vehicles and belongings are left at the owner’s risk. Full arrival information will be provided with your booking confirmation.
-
We keep our workshops deliberately small and occasionally a particular session may not receive enough bookings to run. Where this happens, we reserve the right to combine the session with another workshop taking place on the same or a nearby date. We will always give you as much notice as possible and contact you directly if any change affects your booking.
-
We understand that plans sometimes change. As flowers and materials are ordered in advance for each participant, workshop places are non-refundable within 10 working days of the workshop. If you're unable to attend at short notice, we'll create the arrangement for you using the flowers allocated to your place, ready for you to collect from the studio at an agreed time. You're also very welcome to give your place to a friend or family member — just let us know the name of the person attending in your place.
-
Absolutely. Everything you create during the workshop is yours to take home. We'll also provide any advice you need to help you care for your flowers and enjoy them for as long as possible.
-
Yes. Workshop places can be purchased as gifts.
-
If you have any accessibility or dietary requirements, please let us know when booking and we'll do our best to accommodate them.
